Matt 24: 4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive (planetizes) you.
“Look continually at yourself that nobody “planetizes” you, “the Greek translates.
“Deceive” is “planet”, in the Greek!
In Greek mythology, planets were called wanderers, because of their wandering orbits around the sun.
This is where deception comes from
2Ti 3:7 always learning and never being able to come to full knowledge of the truth.
A person who is deceived wanders around the truth, and though the truth is next to him, he never attains to it.
There is usually an issue with pride.
He justifies what he believes in and rejects what contradicts him
If you have a hardened heart you will not hear God’s voice.
Look at a calloused hand.
If you press into a callous in your hand, there is no pain.
The thickness of the skin prevents pain from reaching the nerve endings.
A calloused heart, does not allow you to hear the voice of God.
Chronic disobedience to the Holy Spirit’s voice hardens and callouses over your heart.
Once that you heart is calloused, you lose the sense of the voice of God.
You forfeit Holy Spirit discernment and become deceived.
You no longer know where you are heading to.
At the same time, you hear the voice of the devil, who is the tempter, and the accuser of the brethren.
He does not require your heart to speak into.
He interjects His voice freely into your thoughts.
Upon our return to US after living in Kenya, God showed me that as ruling demon over Africa is poverty, a ruling one over the USA is distraction.
When we took our children to Disney World in 2008, I learned this.
At Disney World people were looking to and fro searching for something, and yet not able to find it.
This something is Jesus, though people don’t know it.
The demon of distraction is technology and social media to “planetize” people from the truth, by keeping them distracted.
From my upcoming book.
