“The Planned Parenthood bill isn’t going anywhere in the Senate,” Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said on Monday, shortly before an attempt to defund the organization fell seven votes short of advancing.
“Senate Republicans are not being fair to American women,” Reid said in a floor speech.
“It’s our responsibility in the Senate to assure that American women have access to care. It’s our obligation to protect our wives, our sisters, our daughters, our granddaughters — protect them from the absurd policies of a Republican Party that’s lost its moral compass.”

1Tim 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
- He knows not what he says, or what is the reality concerning the things he speaks with so much confidence about.
- He is confident in his errors.
- This is what it means to be deceived!
1 Tim 1: 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away(repudiate and reject)concerning faith have made shipwreck:
- The man who thrusts away, repudiates, and rejects the walk of faith , which administers God’s affairs, within his conscience. become like a ship who wrecks and destroys itself.
1 Tim 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
- There comes a point when the man rejects God long enough to have his conscience become cauterized, numbing its spiritual senses, removing the discernment of God’s voice, and losing the personal consciousness of what is right and what is wrong.
2 Thess 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
- God will send him an energizing work of error so that he believes what is false.
1 Tim 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly (“speaking plainly”; probably through the mouths of prophets), that in the latter times (not specific times) some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
- Doctrines of devils are promoted through a man who has fallen into error, thus wandering from the truth, through his own sins, and the influence of demons.
- Heeding to seducing spirits, which causes the man to wander, allowing him to pay heed to doctrines of devils.
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
- Through the hypocrisy of him who speak lies.
- Conscience seared with a hot iron; should read- Branded in his conscience.
- When a man does not know the truth of the gospel that is molded as a pattern of “sound words” (healthy words) he will pay heed to doctrines of devils.
- He is brought to believe the doctrines of devils when seducing spirits, which cause him to wander from the truth, deceives him.
- These doctrines are brought about through the hypocrisy of the man who speaks lies.
- He can so comfortably bring these lies because his conscience has been cauterized through his disobedience to God, so that he can no longer discern right from wrong.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold (suppress) the truth in unrighteousness;
- The wrath of God is constantly revealed upon all the ungodliness and unrighteousness of the man who holds down or suppresses the truth of God in the realm of unrighteousness.
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
- All that the man can know about God is at his disposal because God already made sure that it is all manifested, and prepared for him. (There is no excuse for the existence of agnostics and atheists!)
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse
- The things that cannot be seen of God from the creation of the world are perceived clearly, and are likewise thoroughly seen and understood, by the things that God made…. so that the man is defenseless (in his agnosticism and atheism)
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
- Having known God, he absolutely refused to glorify Him as God nor was thankful to Him. The end result of pushing God away is that his reflections and reasonings about life became futile and pointless, allowing him to fall into deception and make wrong decisions.
- The end result is that his heart, now void of understanding, became darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
- Professing to be wise, he became a moron.
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
- And he exchanged the glory of the undecaying and sinless God for the likeness of the image of the decaying and sinful
- Who exchanged the truth about God for falsehood, thus religiously reverencing and serving the created thing more than Him who created it!
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
- In regards to things of this life that this man makes it his goal to have an accurate and full knowledge about, he found God to have failed the test and not worthy of holding the place of one these things.
- Therefore God handed this man over to a rejected mind, which failed His test, to now do these inappropriate and unfitting things.
